PharmaOnco™ Apoptosis Detection Kit, Annexin V (APC)

PharmaOnco™ Apoptosis Detection Kit consists of Annexin V, Annexin V buffer and 7-AAD. This kit provides a quick and easy method for detecting apoptotic cells by flow cytometry. The kit is used for the combined detection of early-stage cell apoptosis (using Annexin V-APC) and late-stage cell apoptosis or necrosis (using both Annexin V-APC and 7-AAD). Annexin V has a high affinity for phosphatidylserine (PS) that is present in the inner leaflet of the plasma membrane. 7-AAD is excluded from live cells with intact membranes but penetrates dead or damaged cells and binds to double-stranded DNA with high affinity by intercalating between GC base pairs.
