The Peptide Pool is a lyophilized mixture of 12 peptides, with sequences from the Influenza virus. The pool consists of defined HLA class I-restricted T cell epitopes, and can be used as a positive control to stimulate CD8+ T cells. These peptides are restricted by certain highly frequent HLA types (HLA: A1, A2, A3, A11, A60, A68, B1, B7, B8, B27).

Recommended Use
The Influenza-HLA I Control Peptide Pool is recommended as the positive control for detecting antigenspecific CD8+ cells in human PBMC. Such assays include ELISPOT, CTL and Intracellular Cytokine Assays using human PBMC.
