The CMV (pp65) Peptide Pool is a lyophilized mixture of 138 peptides from the 65 kDa phosphoprotein (pp65) of human cytomegalovirus (CMV; strain AD169). The pool consists of 15-mer peptides with 11-amino-acid overlaps that cover amino acids 1 - 561 on pp65. CMV pp65-specific T cells predominantly produce inflammatory cytokines, such as IFN-γ, IL-2, and TNF-α.
