Short Description
Creative Biolabs offers Beagle Canine CD14+ Cells, Purified for a variety of stimulation-dependent functional experiments to assess cytokine production, proliferation, and cytotoxicity.
Description
Beagle Canine CD14+ Cells, Purified are isolated immune cells from the blood of Beagle dogs that have been specifically purified based on the expression of the CD14 protein on their cell surface. These purified CD14+ cells can be used in research studies to investigate various aspects of canine immunity, including immune responses to infections, inflammatory diseases, and drug development.
Species character
The Beagle canine is the most commonly-used breed of dog for the study of cardiology, cancer, microbial pathogenesis, and immunology. Specifically, they have been used to study the pathogenesis of and response to Leishmania infantum, an intracellular parasite that can pose public health concerns.
Background
CD14+ cells are a good source of mature neutrophils to study their biology, in particular their functional capabilities. They are capable of secreting enzymes, as well as performing phagocytosis in response to foreign organisms.
