PharmaOnco™ CHO-Tg(Human CD123) Stable Cell Line, Single Clone
CAT#: ITS-0822-HMM107
Product Type: Stable Cell Line
Short Description
Creative Biolabs offers CHO-Tg(Human CD123) stable cell line which the CD123 gene stably expressed in CHO cells.
Description
CHO-Tg(Human CD123) stable cell line is a type of cell line that has been genetically modified to express human CD123, which is a cell surface marker found on certain immune cells, such as dendritic cells and basophils. This cell line can be used in research to study the function of CD123 and its role in immune responses, as well as for drug discovery and development targeting CD123.

Background
The CD123 gene, also known as interleukin-3 receptor alpha chain or IL3RA, encodes for a protein that is a component of the receptor for interleukin-3 (IL-3). IL-3 is a cytokine that plays a role in the immune system by regulating the production and function of various blood cells, including white blood cells. The CD123 gene is expressed on the surface of certain immune cells, such as dendritic cells, and is also found on leukemia cells in patients with acute myeloid leukemia. Targeting the CD123 protein with specific therapies is being investigated as a potential treatment strategy for certain types of leukemia and other hematologic malignancies.

Sterility Testing
Creative Biolabs provides sterility testing in accordance with USP and EP regulations. All of our sterility testing is performed in an isolator or clean room environments. The cell line has been screened using the membrane filtration testing methods to confirm the absence of aerobic, anaerobic and fungi microorganisms.
Identity Testing
Identity testing is required for newly established cell lines. Isoenzyme analysis is used to confirm the identity of the species of a cell line. Alternative methods for identity testing include DNA fingerprinting, STR analysis and karyology.
Virological Safety Testing
A broad range of viruses is susceptible to affecting human cell lines. We can provide in vivo/vitro virus safety assays by utilizing various animal systems. These viruses include: adventitious viruses, bovine viruses, human and simian viruses, porcine viruses, retrovirus and rodent viruses.
Genetic Stability Testing
We perform cell genetic stability studies under ICH guidelines. We can provide guidance on the appropriate testing program upon your requirements.
Mycoplasma Testing
The cell line has been screened using the luciferase based mycoplasma detection kit to confirm the absence of mycoplasma species.
Shipping
Dry Ice
Storage
Frozen cells should be stored in a liquid nitrogen tank (-150°C~-190°C). After thawing, cells should be immediately transferred to the appropriate culture medium and maintained under recommended culture conditions.
Handling Notes
Frozen cells should be thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure to ensure cell viability and proper assay performance. Note: Do not freeze the cells upon receipt as it may result in irreversible damage to the cell line. Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee cell viability if the cells are not thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure.
Warnings
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles
Research Use Only
For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
Quality Control
All of our stable cell lines meet the highest quality standards and have been confirmed to be pathogen-free.
