PharmaOnco™ CHO-Tg(Human CD43) Stable Cell Line, Single Clone

CAT#: ITS-0822-HMM128
Product Type: Stable Cell Line
Short Description
Creative Biolabs offers CHO-Tg(Human CD43) stable cell line which the CD43 gene stably expressed in CHO cells.
Description
CHO-Tg(Human CD43) stable cell line is a cell line derived from Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells that have been genetically engineered to express the human CD43 gene. CD43, also known as leukosialin, is a cell surface glycoprotein that is involved in T cell activation and adhesion. The stable cell line is used in research to study the function of CD43 and its role in immune responses.

Background
The CD43 gene, also known as leukosialin or sialophorin, encodes a transmembrane glycoprotein that is primarily expressed on the surface of leukocytes, particularly T cells and B cells. CD43 plays a role in cell adhesion, migration, and signal transduction in the immune system. It has been implicated in various immune functions, including lymphocyte activation, proliferation, and differentiation. Mutations or dysregulation of the CD43 gene have been associated with certain inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.

Sterility Testing
Creative Biolabs provides sterility testing in accordance with USP and EP regulations. All of our sterility testing is performed in an isolator or clean room environments. The cell line has been screened using the membrane filtration testing methods to confirm the absence of aerobic, anaerobic and fungi microorganisms.
Identity Testing
Identity testing is required for newly established cell lines. Isoenzyme analysis is used to confirm the identity of the species of a cell line. Alternative methods for identity testing include DNA fingerprinting, STR analysis and karyology.
Virological Safety Testing
A broad range of viruses is susceptible to affecting human cell lines. We can provide in vivo/vitro virus safety assays by utilizing various animal systems. These viruses include: adventitious viruses, bovine viruses, human and simian viruses, porcine viruses, retrovirus and rodent viruses.
Genetic Stability Testing
We perform cell genetic stability studies under ICH guidelines. We can provide guidance on the appropriate testing program upon your requirements.
Mycoplasma Testing
The cell line has been screened using the luciferase based mycoplasma detection kit to confirm the absence of mycoplasma species.
Shipping

Storage
Frozen cells should be stored in a liquid nitrogen tank (-150°C~-190°C). After thawing, cells should be immediately transferred to the appropriate culture medium and maintained under recommended culture conditions.
Handling Notes
Frozen cells should be thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure to ensure cell viability and proper assay performance.
Note: Do not freeze the cells upon receipt as it may result in irreversible damage to the cell line.
Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee cell viability if the cells are not thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure.
Warnings
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles
