PharmaOnco™ CHO-Tg(Human FcGR3A) Stable Cell Line, Single Clone (CAT#: ITS-0822-HMM140)

DatasheetDatasheet
Short Description
Creative Biolabs offers CHO-Tg(Human FcGR3A) stable cell line which the FcGR3A gene stably expressed in CHO cells.
Description
CHO-Tg(Human FcGR3A) stable cell line is a cell line derived from Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells that has been genetically engineered to express the human Fc gamma receptor 3A (FcGR3A). This cell line is stable, meaning that it maintains the expression of FcGR3A over multiple passages and can be used in various research applications. FcGR3A is a type of Fc gamma receptor that plays a role in immune responses, particularly in the activation of immune cells such as natural killer cells. The CHO-Tg(Human FcGR3A) stable cell line can be used to study the interactions between FcGR3A and its ligands, such as antibody-bound antigens or immune complexes. It can also be used to investigate the signaling pathways and functional consequences of FcGR3A activation. Additionally, this cell line can be used to produce recombinant proteins or antibodies with enhanced effector functions through FcGR3A-mediated mechanisms.

Background
The FcGR3A gene, also known as FCGR3A, encodes the Fc-gamma receptor IIIa protein, which is a cell surface receptor that plays a critical role in the immune system by binding to the Fc portion of antibodies. This receptor is primarily expressed on natural killer (NK) cells and a subset of macrophages, and is involved in mediating antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) and phagocytosis of immune complexes. Mutations or variations in the FcGR3A gene can affect the binding affinity of the receptor for antibodies, leading to altered immune responses and susceptibility to certain diseases. For example, individuals with certain genetic variants of FcGR3A may have an increased risk of autoimmune disorders, infectious diseases, or cancer.
