Short Description
Creative Biolabs offers CMV-Specific T cells for immunity reaserch.
Description
CMV-specific T cells are a type of immune cell that specifically targets and attacks cells infected with cytomegalovirus (CMV). CMV-specific T cells are important in controlling CMV infection and preventing its reactivation. These T cells are able to recognize and kill cells infected with CMV, helping to keep the virus in check.
Background
Cytomegalovirus (CMV)-specific T cells are a type of T cell that has been specifically activated to target and kill cells infected with CMV. These cells are important in the immune response against CMV, a common virus that can cause serious complications in individuals with weakened immune systems, such as transplant recipients or people living with HIV. One of the key benefits of CMV-specific T cells is their ability to provide long-lasting immunity against CMV infection. These cells can persist in the body for years after initial exposure to the virus, providing ongoing protection against CMV reactivation.
