PharmaOnco™ HEK293-Tg(Human CD137) Stable Cell Line, Single Clone
CAT#: ITS-0822-HMM109
Product Type: Stable Cell Line
Short Description
Creative Biolabs offers HEK293-Tg(Human CD137) stable cell line which the CD137 gene stably expressed in HEK293 cells.
Description
HEK293-Tg(Human CD137) stable cell line is a type of cell line that has been genetically modified to express the human CD137 gene. CD137, also known as 4-1BB, is a co-stimulatory molecule that plays a role in regulating immune responses. This cell line can be used to screen potential drugs targeting CD137, to study immune responses, and to investigate the mechanisms underlying CD137 signaling.

Background
CD137, also known as 4-1BB, is a protein-coding gene that encodes a cell surface receptor that is part of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily. CD137 is primarily expressed on activated T cells, natural killer cells, dendritic cells, and monocytes, and plays a key role in regulating immune responses. Activation of CD137 by its ligand, CD137L, leads to the activation of downstream signaling pathways that stimulate T cell proliferation, survival, and cytokine production. This activation enhances immune responses against pathogens and cancer cells. CD137 has been implicated in the modulation of autoimmune diseases, as well as in the promotion of anti-tumor immunity.

Sterility Testing
Creative Biolabs provides sterility testing in accordance with USP and EP regulations. All of our sterility testing is performed in an isolator or clean room environments. The cell line has been screened using the membrane filtration testing methods to confirm the absence of aerobic, anaerobic and fungi microorganisms.
Identity Testing
Identity testing is required for newly established cell lines. Isoenzyme analysis is used to confirm the identity of the species of a cell line. Alternative methods for identity testing include DNA fingerprinting, STR analysis and karyology.
Virological Safety Testing
A broad range of viruses is susceptible to affecting human cell lines. We can provide in vivo/vitro virus safety assays by utilizing various animal systems. These viruses include: adventitious viruses, bovine viruses, human and simian viruses, porcine viruses, retrovirus and rodent viruses.
Genetic Stability Testing
We perform cell genetic stability studies under ICH guidelines. We can provide guidance on the appropriate testing program upon your requirements.
Mycoplasma Testing
The cell line has been screened using the luciferase based mycoplasma detection kit to confirm the absence of mycoplasma species.
Shipping
Dry Ice
Storage
Frozen cells should be stored in a liquid nitrogen tank (-150°C~-190°C). After thawing, cells should be immediately transferred to the appropriate culture medium and maintained under recommended culture conditions.
Handling Notes
Frozen cells should be thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure to ensure cell viability and proper assay performance. Note: Do not freeze the cells upon receipt as it may result in irreversible damage to the cell line. Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee cell viability if the cells are not thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure.
Warnings
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles
Research Use Only
For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
Quality Control
All of our stable cell lines meet the highest quality standards and have been confirmed to be pathogen-free.
