PharmaOnco™ HEK293-Tg(Human TLR9)-NF-κB Luc Reporter Cell Line, Single Clone (CAT#: ITS-0822-HMM216)

DatasheetDatasheet
Short Description
Creative Biolabs offers HEK293-Tg(Human TLR9)-NF-κB Luc reporter cell line which the TLR9 gene stably expressed in NF-κB Luc reporter HEK293 cells.
Description
The HEK293-Tg(Human TLR9)-NF-κB Luc reporter cell line is a cell line derived from human embryonic kidney 293 cells that has been genetically engineered to overexpress human Toll-like receptor 9 (TLR9) and a luciferase reporter gene under the control of the NF-κB transcription factor promoter. This cell line is commonly used in research studies to investigate the activation of the NF-κB signaling pathway in response to TLR9 ligands, such as unmethylated CpG DNA, which are known to trigger immune responses.

Background
The TLR9 gene encodes a protein called Toll-like receptor 9, which is a receptor involved in recognizing and responding to microbial DNA. TLR9 plays a critical role in the innate immune response by detecting pathogens and triggering an immune response to eliminate them. Mutations or dysregulation of the TLR9 gene have been associated with various autoimmune disorders and diseases, making it an important target for research in immunology and inflammation.
