PharmaOnco™ HEK293T-Tg(Human Gαqi5//Human P2Y14 Receptor) Division-Arrested Cell, Single Clone
CAT#: ITS-0624-HMM683
Product Type: Division-Arrested Cell
Short Description
Creative Biolabs offers HEK293T-Tg(Human Gαqi5//Human P2Y14 Receptor) Division-Arrested Cell which P2Y14 receptor stably expressed in HEK293T cells which overexpress Gαqi5.
Description
HEK293T-Tg(Human Gαqi5//Human P2Y14 Receptor) Division-Arrested Cell was engineered to express the receptor human P2Y14 (NM_014879) and Gαqi5 gene. This cell line can be used to study P2Y14 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions. Dividing-arrest cells are cells that are normally kept under specific culture conditions or treated with agents that prevent cell division from being held in a non-dividing state. This can be achieved through methods such as serum starvation, chemical inhibitors of cell cycle progression, or genetic modification.
Features
Well-characterized stable cell lines; for cell-based high-throughput screening; Low-cost evaluation of stable cell lines or limited quantities of compounds.

Background
P2Y14 (GPR105) is a purinergic G protein-coupled receptor that specifically responds to UDP-glucose and related sugar-nucleotides. This receptor has important structural similarities to known members of the P2Y receptor family but also shows a distinctly different pharmacological profile, as the receptor does not respond to ATP, ADP, UTP, UDP, other nucleotides, dinucleotides, and nucleosides. Widespread distribution of P2Y14 has been observed in humans, with highest expression in placenta, adipose tissue, stomach and intestine, and moderate levels in the brain, spleen, lung and heart. In transfected cells, the P2Y14 receptor reportedly couples to pertussis toxin-sensitive Gαi/o proteins. However, the transduction pathway(s) used by this receptor in native systems still remains to be defined.

Sterility Testing
Creative Biolabs provides sterility testing in accordance with USP and EP regulations. All of our sterility testing is performed in an isolator or clean room environments. The cell line has been screened using the membrane filtration testing methods to confirm the absence of aerobic, anaerobic and fungi microorganisms.
Identity Testing
Identity testing is required for newly established cell lines. Isoenzyme analysis is used to confirm the identity of the species of a cell line. Alternative methods for identity testing include DNA fingerprinting, STR analysis and karyology.
Virological Safety Testing
A broad range of viruses is susceptible to affecting human cell lines. We can provide in vivo/vitro virus safety assays by utilizing various animal systems. These viruses include: adventitious viruses, bovine viruses, human and simian viruses, porcine viruses, retrovirus and rodent viruses.
Genetic Stability Testing
We perform cell genetic stability studies under ICH guidelines. We can provide guidance on the appropriate testing program upon your requirements.
Mycoplasma Testing
The cell line has been screened using the luciferase based mycoplasma detection kit to confirm the absence of mycoplasma species.
Shipping
Dry Ice
Storage
Frozen cells should be stored in a liquid nitrogen tank (-150°C~-190°C). After thawing, cells should be immediately transferred to the appropriate culture medium and maintained under recommended culture conditions.
Handling Notes
Frozen cells should be thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure to ensure cell viability and proper assay performance. Note: Do not freeze the cells upon receipt as it may result in irreversible damage to the cell line. Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee cell viability if the cells are not thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure.
Warnings
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles
Research Use Only
For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
Quality Control
All of our stable cell lines meet the highest quality standards and have been confirmed to be pathogen-free.
