PharmaOnco™ HEK293T-Tg(Human PAC1 Receptor) Division-Arrested Cell, Single Clone
CAT#: ITS-0624-HMM706
Product Type: Division-Arrested Cell
Short Description
Creative Biolabs offers HEK293T-Tg(Human PAC1 Receptor) Division-Arrested Cell which PAC1 receptor stably expressed in HEK293T cells.
Description
HEK293T-Tg(Human PAC1 Receptor) Division-Arrested Cell was engineered to express the receptor human PAC1 (NM_001118.3). This cell line can be used to study PAC1 receptor-mediated signaling pathways, ligand binding kinetics, and downstream cellular responses associated with PAC1 receptor activation. Dividing-arrest cells are cells that are normally kept under specific culture conditions or treated with agents that prevent cell division from being held in a non-dividing state. This can be achieved through methods such as serum starvation, chemical inhibitors of cell cycle progression, or genetic modification.
Features
Well-characterized stable cell lines; for cell-based high-throughput screening; Low-cost evaluation of stable cell lines or limited quantities of compounds.

Background
The pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide (PACAP)- selective PAC1 receptor (PAC1R, ADCYAP1R1) is a member of the vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) family of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs). PAC1R has been shown to play crucial roles in the central and peripheral nervous systems. Inadequate PACAP/PAC1R signaling has been implicated in a number of disorders, including stress-related psychopathologies (i.e., depression, posttraumatic stress disorder, and related abnormalities), chronic pain and migraine, and metabolic diseases. Repealing PAC1R signaling under these pathological conditions represent opportunities for therapeutic intervention.

Sterility Testing
Creative Biolabs provides sterility testing in accordance with USP and EP regulations. All of our sterility testing is performed in an isolator or clean room environments. The cell line has been screened using the membrane filtration testing methods to confirm the absence of aerobic, anaerobic and fungi microorganisms.
Identity Testing
Identity testing is required for newly established cell lines. Isoenzyme analysis is used to confirm the identity of the species of a cell line. Alternative methods for identity testing include DNA fingerprinting, STR analysis and karyology.
Virological Safety Testing
A broad range of viruses is susceptible to affecting human cell lines. We can provide in vivo/vitro virus safety assays by utilizing various animal systems. These viruses include: adventitious viruses, bovine viruses, human and simian viruses, porcine viruses, retrovirus and rodent viruses.
Genetic Stability Testing
We perform cell genetic stability studies under ICH guidelines. We can provide guidance on the appropriate testing program upon your requirements.
Mycoplasma Testing
The cell line has been screened using the luciferase based mycoplasma detection kit to confirm the absence of mycoplasma species.

Storage
Frozen cells should be stored in a liquid nitrogen tank (-150°C~-190°C). After thawing, cells should be immediately transferred to the appropriate culture medium and maintained under recommended culture conditions.
Handling Notes
Frozen cells should be thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure to ensure cell viability and proper assay performance. Note: Do not freeze the cells upon receipt as it may result in irreversible damage to the cell line. Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee cell viability if the cells are not thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure.
Warnings
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles
Research Use Only
For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
Quality Control
All of our stable cell lines meet the highest quality standards and have been confirmed to be pathogen-free.
