PharmaOnco™ HEK293T-Tg(Mouse EP2 Receptor) Stable Cell Line, Single Clone

CAT#: ITS-0624-HMM402
Product Type: Stable Cell Line
Short Description
Creative Biolabs offers HEK293T-Tg(Mouse EP2 Receptor) Stable Cell Line which EP2 receptor stably expressed in HEK293T cells.
Description
HEK293T-Tg(Mouse EP2 Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor mouse EP2 (NM_008964.4). EP2 receptor is a PGE2 receptor subtype involved in mediating the diverse biological effects of prostaglandin E2 in inflammation, pain perception, immune responses, gastrointestinal function, cardiovascular regulation, and reproductive functions. This cell line can be used to study EP2 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.
Features
Minimally modified GPCRs directly selected in functional assays;
Strict quality control;
Parental and orthologous cell lines are available.

Background
The EP2 receptor was identified and classified as one of the four subtypes of PGE2 receptors, designated EP1, EP2, EP3, and EP4. These receptors mediate the diverse biological effects of PGE2 in various tissues and cells. EP2 receptor is classified under the Class A (rhodopsin-like) family of GPCRs.

Sterility Testing
Creative Biolabs provides sterility testing in accordance with USP and EP regulations. All of our sterility testing is performed in an isolator or clean room environments. The cell line has been screened using the membrane filtration testing methods to confirm the absence of aerobic, anaerobic and fungi microorganisms.
Identity Testing
Identity testing is required for newly established cell lines. Isoenzyme analysis is used to confirm the identity of the species of a cell line. Alternative methods for identity testing include DNA fingerprinting, STR analysis and karyology.
Virological Safety Testing
A broad range of viruses is susceptible to affecting human cell lines. We can provide in vivo/vitro virus safety assays by utilizing various animal systems. These viruses include: adventitious viruses, bovine viruses, human and simian viruses, porcine viruses, retrovirus and rodent viruses.
Genetic Stability Testing
We perform cell genetic stability studies under ICH guidelines. We can provide guidance on the appropriate testing program upon your requirements.
Mycoplasma Testing
The cell line has been screened using the luciferase based mycoplasma detection kit to confirm the absence of mycoplasma species.
Shipping
Dry Ice
Storage
Frozen cells should be stored in a liquid nitrogen tank (-150°C~-190°C). After thawing, cells should be immediately transferred to the appropriate culture medium and maintained under recommended culture conditions.
Handling Notes
Frozen cells should be thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure to ensure cell viability and proper assay performance.
Note: Do not freeze the cells upon receipt as it may result in irreversible damage to the cell line.
Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee cell viability if the cells are not thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure.
Warnings
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles
