Description
Purified human CD3 Pan T cells are a subset of T cells that are isolated and purified based on the expression of the CD3 antigen, which is a complex of proteins found on the surface of T cells. These cells can be used for various research purposes, including studying T cell activation and function, immunotherapy development, and understanding T cell-mediated immune responses.
Background
Human CD3 Pan T cells consist of both CD4 and CD8 T cells, and make up approximately 45-75% of PBMCs in a typical adult. All T cells carry the CD3 protein marker and the T cell receptor (TCR), which recognizes foreign antigens presented by major histocompatibility complex molecules on antigen presenting cells to activate them.

Quality Control
Cultures are screened for the presence of bacteries, yeast, fungi and mycoplasma (DNA amplification). Growth media are also certified based on U.S. Public Health Service Guidelines.
Storage
Lyophilized cells should be stored in a liquid nitrogen tank (-150°C~-190°C). After thawing, cells should be immediately transferred to the appropriate culture medium and maintained under recommended culture conditions.
Handling Notes
Frozen cells should be thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure to ensure cell viability and proper assay performance.
Note: Do not freeze the cells upon receipt as it may result in irreversible damage to the cell line.
