Description
Creative Biolabs provides a reliable ethically sourced, ready-to-use, primary human mature dendritic cells. These cells are isolated from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of normal donors. The isolated cells are cultured to generate immature dendritic cells. This product allows for study in numerous immunity research areas.
Background
Dendritic cells (DCs) are antigen-presenting cells that play an important role in connecting the innate and adaptive immunity of the immune system. DCs can exist in three states: immature, semi-mature, and mature DCs. Immature DCs have endocytic capability but relatively low capacity to stimulate T cells. Immature DCs facilitate tolerance toward cancer cells while fully mature DCs can strongly promote anticancer immunity.
