PharmaOnco™ Human K562-GFP Tumor Cell Line (CAT#: IOC-02P008)

DatasheetDatasheet
Short Description
GFP-labeled human K562 cell
Description
Researchers at the Creative Biolabs have developed an GFP-labeled human K562 cell that allows for intravital imaging to evaluate anti-cancer agents in Burkitt's Lymphoma. Furthermore, the GFP-labeled human K562 cell is helpful in assessing the tumor- take to select mice for treatments groups based on equivalent tumor burden.

Mycoplasma Testing

Mycoplasma contamination is detected by using a PCR Mycoplasma Test Kit. The kit utilizes the polymerase chain reaction (PCR), which was established as the method of choice for highest sensitivity in the detection of mycoplasma and acholeplasma contamination in cell cultures and other cell culture derived biologicals.
The results showed that the cell line was negative for Mycoplasma.
