Mycoplasma Testing
Mycoplasma contamination is detected by using a PCR Mycoplasma Test Kit. The kit utilizes the polymerase chain reaction (PCR), which was established as the method of choice for the highest sensitivity in the detection of mycoplasma and acholeplasma contamination in cell cultures and other cell culture derived biologicals.
The results showed that the cell line was negative for Mycoplasma.
