PharmaOnco™ Jurkat- FCGR2A KO Cell Line, Single Clone
CAT#: ITS-0822-HMM138
Product Type: Knockout Cell Line
Short Description
Creative Biolabs offers Jurkat- FCGR2A KO cell line which the FCGR2A gene stably expressed in Jurkat cells.
Description
The Jurkat-FCGR2A KO cell line is a Jurkat cell line that has been genetically modified using CRISPR/Cas9 technology to knockout the FCGR2A gene. This gene encodes the Fc gamma receptor IIA protein, which is involved in the immune response. This cell line can be used to investigate the role of FCGR2A in cell signaling, cytokine production, and other immune processes.

Background
The FCGR2A gene, also known as CD32, encodes for a cell surface receptor protein that is involved in the immune response. This receptor is primarily found on immune cells called macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes, and plays a key role in the process of phagocytosis, which is the engulfing and destruction of pathogens or other foreign particles. Variations in the FCGR2A gene have been linked to certain autoimmune diseases, such as systemic lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis, as well as infectious diseases. Some variations in this gene may also affect an individual's response to certain immunotherapy treatments.

Sterility Testing
Creative Biolabs provides sterility testing in accordance with USP and EP regulations. All of our sterility testing is performed in an isolator or clean room environments. The cell line has been screened using the membrane filtration testing methods to confirm the absence of aerobic, anaerobic and fungi microorganisms.
Identity Testing
Identity testing is required for newly established cell lines. Isoenzyme analysis is used to confirm the identity of the species of a cell line. Alternative methods for identity testing include DNA fingerprinting, STR analysis and karyology.
Virological Safety Testing
A broad range of viruses is susceptible to affecting human cell lines. We can provide in vivo/vitro virus safety assays by utilizing various animal systems. These viruses include: adventitious viruses, bovine viruses, human and simian viruses, porcine viruses, retrovirus and rodent viruses.
Genetic Stability Testing
We perform cell genetic stability studies under ICH guidelines. We can provide guidance on the appropriate testing program upon your requirements.
Mycoplasma Testing
The cell line has been screened using the luciferase based mycoplasma detection kit to confirm the absence of mycoplasma species.
Shipping
Dry Ice
Storage
Frozen cells should be stored in a liquid nitrogen tank (-150°C~-190°C). After thawing, cells should be immediately transferred to the appropriate culture medium and maintained under recommended culture conditions.
Handling Notes
Frozen cells should be thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure to ensure cell viability and proper assay performance. Note: Do not freeze the cells upon receipt as it may result in irreversible damage to the cell line. Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee cell viability if the cells are not thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure.
Warnings
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles
Research Use Only
For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
Quality Control
All of our stable cell lines meet the highest quality standards and have been confirmed to be pathogen-free.
