PharmaOnco™ Jurkat-Tg(Human IL-15) STAT5 Luc Reporter Cell Line, Single Clone

CAT#: ITS-0822-HMM173
Product Type: Stable Cell Line
Short Description
Creative Biolabs offers Jurkat-Tg(Human IL-15) STAT5 Luc reporter cell line which the IL-15 gene stably expressed in STAT5 Luc reporter Jurkat cells.
Description
The Jurkat-Tg(Human IL-15) STAT5 Luc reporter cell line is a specific type of Jurkat cell line that has been genetically modified to express a luciferase reporter gene under the control of the STAT5 signaling pathway activated by human IL-15. This cell line can be used to study the activation of the STAT5 pathway in response to IL-15 stimulation and monitor this activation using luciferase assay. This cell line may be used in research related to immune response, cytokine signaling, and inflammation.

Background
The IL-15 gene encodes the interleukin-15 (IL-15) protein, which is a cytokine that plays a crucial role in regulating the immune system. IL-15 is produced by various cell types, including monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells, and is involved in the proliferation and activation of various immune cells, such as natural killer (NK) cells, T cells, and B cells. IL-15 is important for the development and function of these immune cells, and it has been implicated in the defense against viral infections, tumor surveillance, and autoimmune diseases. Mutations in the IL-15 gene or dysregulation of IL-15 expression can lead to immune system dysfunction and contribute to the development of various diseases.

Sterility Testing
Creative Biolabs provides sterility testing in accordance with USP and EP regulations. All of our sterility testing is performed in an isolator or clean room environments. The cell line has been screened using the membrane filtration testing methods to confirm the absence of aerobic, anaerobic and fungi microorganisms.
Identity Testing
Identity testing is required for newly established cell lines. Isoenzyme analysis is used to confirm the identity of the species of a cell line. Alternative methods for identity testing include DNA fingerprinting, STR analysis and karyology.
Virological Safety Testing
A broad range of viruses is susceptible to affecting human cell lines. We can provide in vivo/vitro virus safety assays by utilizing various animal systems. These viruses include: adventitious viruses, bovine viruses, human and simian viruses, porcine viruses, retrovirus and rodent viruses.
Genetic Stability Testing
We perform cell genetic stability studies under ICH guidelines. We can provide guidance on the appropriate testing program upon your requirements.
Mycoplasma Testing
The cell line has been screened using the luciferase based mycoplasma detection kit to confirm the absence of mycoplasma species.
Shipping

Storage
Frozen cells should be stored in a liquid nitrogen tank (-150°C~-190°C). After thawing, cells should be immediately transferred to the appropriate culture medium and maintained under recommended culture conditions.
Handling Notes
Frozen cells should be thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure to ensure cell viability and proper assay performance.
Note: Do not freeze the cells upon receipt as it may result in irreversible damage to the cell line.
Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee cell viability if the cells are not thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure.
Warnings
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles
