Target: ADAR1
Short Description
Visualize ADAR1 with clarity and confidence using this high-quality IHC kit. It features a comprehensive set of reagents and a user-friendly protocol, enabling researchers to achieve accurate and reproducible staining.
Description
ADAR1 (Adenosine deaminase acting on RNA 1), also known as DSRAD, G1P1, IFI4, converts specific adenosine residues into inosine in substrate RNAs with short dsRNA regions. The human ADAR1 gene encodes two RNA-specific adenosine deaminase isoforms: an IFN-inducible ~150 kDa protein and a constitutively expressed ~110 kDa protein. ADAR1 has five isoforms produced by alternative promoter usage and splicing. Defects in ADAR1 cause dyschromatosis symmetrica hereditaria (DSH). ADAR1 forms homodimers essential for its enzymatic activity.

IHC Control Slides
Creative Biolabs control slides are prepared using top quality tissues that have been processed, embedded and sectioned following standard operating procedure. We provide the following antigen (tissue) controls:
- Positive control: a section from a tissue known to express the protein of interest.
- Negative control: a section from a tissue known not to express the target antigen.
- Endogenous tissue background control: a section from the tissue that doesn't have a primary antibody applied.
Tissue Samples
Creative Biolabs also offers biospecimen including formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue blocks, fresh or snap frozen tissue blocks, tissue microarray (TMA) slides. Please contact us to request a customized price quotation.
