Fetuin-A (AHSG) is a plasma glycoprotein produced by the liver. It prevents soft tissue calcification and modulates inflammation, insulin sensitivity, and weight gain, particularly with high-fat diets or aging. It is involved in various functions such as brain development, bone formation, and endocytosis. Fetuin-A is present in the cortical plate of the cerebral cortex and the bone marrow, indicating its role in tissue development.

To ensure the preservation of their functional properties, all reagents within this kit must be maintained at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Under these storage conditions, the kit will retain its effectiveness for a period of 6 to 12 months following receipt.
