Short Description
For the accurate and efficient staining of ALDH1A1, this IHC kit offers a streamlined workflow with ready-to-use reagents and an optimized protocol, ensuring high-quality results and minimal hands-on time.
Description
ALDH1A1 is a key enzyme in alcohol metabolism, specifically acetaldehyde dehydrogenase, located in the liver cytosol. It plays an essential role in protecting lens epithelial cells from oxidative stress and is involved in drug resistance, differentiation, and the cellular response to oxidative stress. As a novel cancer stem cell marker, it is useful for cancers with low normal tissue expression such as breast, lung, ovarian, and colon cancers.
