This IHC kit offers a complete solution for Alpha Actinin staining, providing all necessary reagents in a convenient and ready-to-use format for a streamlined workflow and reliable results.

Alpha catenins are crucial for linking E-cadherin-β-catenin complexes to the actin cytoskeleton in adherens junctions. Three isoforms exist, with varying tissue distribution. Alpha-E-catenin is present universally, Alpha-N is confined to neurons, and Alpha-T is found primarily in the heart. Reduced alpha-E-catenin levels are associated with various cancers and are linked to tumor differentiation and metastasis.

To ensure the preservation of their functional properties, all reagents within this kit must be maintained at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Under these storage conditions, the kit will retain its effectiveness for a period of 6 to 12 months following receipt.
