CASP2 (Caspase-2), also known as ICH1, NEDD2, belongs to the peptidase C14A family. It is involved in the activation cascade of caspases responsible for apoptosis execution and might function by activating proteins required for cell death or inactivating proteins necessary for cell survival. It has two isoforms produced by alternative splicing and can exist as a dimer in solution.

To ensure the preservation of their functional properties, all reagents within this kit must be maintained at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Under these storage conditions, the kit will retain its effectiveness for a period of 6 to 12 months following receipt.
