Short Description
This IHC kit provides a reliable and convenient method for Cathepsin B visualization, featuring a comprehensive set of reagents and a user-friendly protocol for consistent and accurate staining data.
Description
CTSB (Cathepsin B), also known as CPSB, is part of the peptidase C1 family and is involved in intracellular degradation and protein turnover. The precursor forms of Cathepsin B found in human malignant ascites fluid lack mannose-rich carbohydrates, suggesting a defect in post-translational modification. Cathepsin B exists in both glycosylated and unglycosylated forms.
