Description
CD43, also known as leukosialin, sialophorin, galactoglycoprotein, and SPN, is a mucin-like type I transmembrane protein expressed in hematopoietic cells, including T lymphocytes, monocytes, granulocytes, NK cells, platelets, and hematopoietic stem cells, except in mature erythrocytes and B cell subpopulations.
