Enhance your COL3A1 staining workflow with this ready-to-deploy IHC kit, supplying all reagents for a complete staining procedure.
Description
Type III collagen is a fibrillar-forming collagen consisting of three α1(III) chains. It is expressed in early embryos and throughout embryogenesis. In adults, type III collagen is a major component of the extracellular matrix in various internal organs and skin. It occurs with type I collagen in most soft connective tissues. The COL3A1 gene encodes type III procollagen. Mutations in this gene are associated with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome type IV and aortic and arterial aneurysms. This antibody recognizes the 24-152 aa of prepro α1(III) chain of human type III procollagen and does not cross-react with mouse or rat type III collagen.

IHC Control Slides
Creative Biolabs control slides are prepared using top quality tissues that have been processed, embedded and sectioned following standard operating procedure. We provide the following antigen (tissue) controls: - Positive control: a section from a tissue known to express the protein of interest. - Negative control: a section from a tissue known not to express the target antigen. - Endogenous tissue background control: a section from the tissue that doesn't have a primary antibody applied.
Tissue Samples
Creative Biolabs also offers biospecimen including formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue blocks, fresh or snap frozen tissue blocks, tissue microarray (TMA) slides. Please contact us to request a customized price quotation.
