Short Description
Streamline DAG1 staining procedures with this all-inclusive IHC kit, pre-formulated with every reagent needed for a complete workflow.
Description
Dystroglycan, also known as DAG1 or DG, is an integral membrane protein initially identified in skeletal muscle as part of the dystrophin-glycoprotein complex (DGC). It is expressed not only in muscle but also in the heart, smooth muscle, and many other tissues, including the brain and peripheral nerves. Dystroglycan participates in processes like basement membrane assembly, sarcolemmal stability, cell survival, nerve myelination, cell migration, and epithelial polarization.
