OncoIHC™ DLK1 Ready-To-Use IHC Kit

CAT#: ITS-1122-ZP4886
Product Type: Kit
Target: DLK1
Short Description
This complete IHC kit for DLK1 offers a direct approach to staining, equipping users with reagents from antigen retrieval to slide mounting.
Description
DLK1, also known as PREF1, FA1, or pG2, is a transmembrane protein from the EGF-like superfamily, containing six EGF-like repeats in its extracellular domain. DLK1 negatively regulates the differentiation of preadipocytes into adipocytes. In mouse models, DLK1 deficiency leads to growth delays and increased fat accumulation. It is also expressed in neuroendocrine tumors, suggesting it plays a role in neuroendocrine differentiation. Its overexpression may contribute to metabolic disturbances by impairing adipocyte function in mice.

IHC Control Slides
Creative Biolabs control slides are prepared using top quality tissues that have been processed, embedded and sectioned following standard operating procedure. We provide the following antigen (tissue) controls:
- Positive control: a section from a tissue known to express the protein of interest.
- Negative control: a section from a tissue known not to express the target antigen.
- Endogenous tissue background control: a section from the tissue that doesn't have a primary antibody applied.
Tissue Samples
Creative Biolabs also offers biospecimen including formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue blocks, fresh or snap frozen tissue blocks, tissue microarray (TMA) slides. Please contact us to request a customized price quotation.
