OncoIHC™ EIF3G Ready-To-Use IHC Kit

CAT#: ITS-1122-ZP4906
Product Type: Kit
Target: EIF3G
Short Description
Ensure consistent EIF3G staining with this pre-prepared IHC kit, supplying reagents tailored for efficient, start-to-finish staining.
Description
Eukaryotic translation initiation factor eIF3, which plays a central role in translation initiation, consists of five core subunits that are present in both budding yeast and higher eukaryotes. The EIF-3 complex associates with the 40S ribosome and facilitates the recruitment of eIF-1, eIF-1A, eIF-2:GTP:methionyl-tRNAi, and eIF-5 to form the 43S preinitiation complex. The complex stimulates mRNA recruitment to the 43S PIC and scanning of the mRNA for AUG recognition. It is also required for disassembly and recycling of post-termination ribosomal complexes and subsequently prevents premature joining of the 40S and 60S ribosomal subunits prior to initiation. EIF3G is a component of the EIF3 complex.

IHC Control Slides
Creative Biolabs control slides are prepared using top quality tissues that have been processed, embedded and sectioned following standard operating procedure. We provide the following antigen (tissue) controls:
- Positive control: a section from a tissue known to express the protein of interest.
- Negative control: a section from a tissue known not to express the target antigen.
- Endogenous tissue background control: a section from the tissue that doesn't have a primary antibody applied.
Tissue Samples
Creative Biolabs also offers biospecimen including formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue blocks, fresh or snap frozen tissue blocks, tissue microarray (TMA) slides. Please contact us to request a customized price quotation.
