Short Description
For precise GRP94 staining, utilize this ready-to-deploy IHC solution, simplifying procedures from antigen retrieval through coverslipping.
Description
HSP90 proteins are highly conserved molecular chaperones that interact with cochaperones and play essential roles in protein folding, stabilizing, and refolding denatured proteins after stress. HSP90B1 (GP96 or GRP94) is an endoplasmic reticulum paralogue of the cytosolic HSP90. As a major ER chaperone, it mediates the unfolded protein response (UPR) and assists in chaperoning peptides to MHC class I molecules on dendritic cells and other antigen-presenting cells, facilitating the assembly of immunoglobulins. HSP90B1 is involved in various other biological processes. The antibody against HSP90B1 was generated against its N-terminal region.
