Histone deacetylases (HDACs) are enzymes that regulate transcription by removing acetyl groups from lysines in histone proteins. HDAC3, a class I HDAC, functions by deacetylating histones and is involved in regulating transcription through interactions with transcription factors like the zinc-finger YY1. HDAC3 can also suppress p53 function, influencing cell growth and apoptosis, and is considered a potential tumor suppressor gene.

To ensure the preservation of their functional properties, all reagents within this kit must be maintained at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Under these storage conditions, the kit will retain its effectiveness for a period of 6 to 12 months following receipt.
