Short Description
Ensure consistent HPRT1 staining with this pre-prepared IHC kit, supplying reagents tailored for efficient, start-to-finish staining.
Description
HPRT1 (HGPRT) is crucial in the purine salvage pathway, generating purine nucleotides from pre-existing bases. Mutations in HPRT1 are associated with Lesch-Nyhan syndrome (LNS), an inherited disorder of purine metabolism. HPRT1 is also involved in the development of HPRT-related gout.
