Short Description
Facilitate HSD17B10 detection using this ready-to-deploy IHC solution, encompassing reagents from antigen retrieval to slide preparation.
Description
HSD17B10 (3-hydroxyacyl-CoA dehydrogenase type-2) is a multifunctional mitochondrial enzyme that acts on a broad range of substrates, including neuroactive steroids, alcohols, and fatty acids. HSD17B10 has two isoforms produced through alternative splicing. Mutations in this gene lead to 2-methyl-3-hydroxybutyryl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiency and mental retardation syndromic X-linked type 10 (MRXS10).
