Short Description
Ensure reliable Cytokeratin 20 staining outcomes with this all-inclusive IHC kit, delivering reagents for a complete staining process.
Description
Keratins are a large family of proteins forming the intermediate filament cytoskeleton of epithelial cells. Keratin expression is tissue-specific and regulated according to cell-state. Type I keratins are acidic, low molecular weight proteins, and type II keratins are basic or neutral, high molecular weight proteins. Keratin 20 is a type I cytokeratin, primarily expressed in mature enterocytes and goblet cells of the gastric and intestinal mucosa.
