Description
Nectin 2 (PVRL2, CD112, HVEB) is an adhesion molecule expressed in hematopoietic, neuronal, endothelial, and epithelial cells. It is involved in intercellular homophilic adhesion and localizes at adherens junctions through interaction with afadin. Disruption of the CD112 gene causes infertility and morphologically aberrant spermatozoa. It also mediates viral entry.
