Phosphatidylethanolamine Binding Protein 1 (PEBP1), also known as Raf Kinase Inhibitor Protein (RKIP), inhibits signaling pathways such as Raf-1/MEK/ERK and NF-kB. It acts as a metastasis suppressor, and loss of expression is associated with various cancers, making it a potential prognostic marker.
