Perilipin 5 (also known as LSDP5/OXPAT) is a lipid droplet coat protein that promotes the association of lipid droplets with mitochondria. It is mainly expressed in tissues with high fat-oxidative capacity, such as the heart, skeletal muscles, and brown adipose tissue. It regulates cardiac lipid storage and function.

To ensure the preservation of their functional properties, all reagents within this kit must be maintained at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Under these storage conditions, the kit will retain its effectiveness for a period of 6 to 12 months following receipt.
