Description
Podoplanin (PDPN) is a glycoprotein found in glomerular epithelial cells and lymphatic endothelium. It is involved in tumor-associated lymphangiogenesis, cell migration, actin cytoskeleton organization, and lung cell proliferation. It induces platelet aggregation but does not affect folic acid or amino acid transport.
