Short Description
Obtain rapid PRKAA1 staining with this fully prepared IHC kit, providing components for a streamlined workflow.
Description
AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) in mammals plays a key role in protecting cells from ATP depletion by switching off ATP-consuming biosynthetic pathways. The PRKAA1 gene, also known as AMPK1, ACACA kinase, and HMGCR kinase, encodes a mammalian homologue of the sucrose non-fermenting protein kinase (SNF-1), which is part of the serine/threonine protein kinase family.
