For the effective localization of TDP43, this integrated IHC kit delivers a complete solution. Its ready-to-apply reagents, covering all stages from antigen retrieval to slide preparation, streamline the workflow, enabling researchers to obtain accurate and reproducible IHC results.
Description
The TARDBP gene encodes TDP-43, a protein initially identified as a repressor of HIV-1 transcription by binding TAR DNA. TDP-43 also binds RNA and plays a role in transcriptional repression, translational regulation, and pre-mRNA splicing, including the regulation of CFTR gene splicing. Hyperphosphorylated, ubiquitinated, and cleaved forms of TDP-43, known as pathological TDP-43, are implicated in diseases like ALS and FTLD-U. Recently, TDP-43 has been linked to triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and may serve as a target for diagnosis and drug design.

IHC Control Slides
Creative Biolabs control slides are prepared using top quality tissues that have been processed, embedded and sectioned following standard operating procedure. We provide the following antigen (tissue) controls: - Positive control: a section from a tissue known to express the protein of interest. - Negative control: a section from a tissue known not to express the target antigen. - Endogenous tissue background control: a section from the tissue that doesn't have a primary antibody applied.
Tissue Samples
Creative Biolabs also offers biospecimen including formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue blocks, fresh or snap frozen tissue blocks, tissue microarray (TMA) slides. Please contact us to request a customized price quotation.
