Triosephosphate isomerase (TPI1), also known as TIM or TPI, belongs to the triosephosphate isomerase family. It is crucial in cell metabolism, controlling glycolytic flow and energy production by converting dihydroxyacetone phosphate (DHAP) to D-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate (G3P). Defects in TPI1 lead to triosephosphate isomerase deficiency (TPI deficiency).

To ensure the preservation of their functional properties, all reagents within this kit must be maintained at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Under these storage conditions, the kit will retain its effectiveness for a period of 6 to 12 months following receipt.
