Facilitate VIL1 detection with this ready-to-use IHC solution, streamlining procedures from antigen retrieval through slide preparation.
Description
Villin 1 (VIL1) is a severing protein expressed in epithelial cells with a brush border, such as in the intestinal mucosa, gall bladder, renal proximal tubules, and ductuli efferentes of the testis. VIL1 plays an important role in regulating actin dynamics, cell morphology, epithelial-to-mesenchymal transitions, cell migration, and survival. It is also an anti-apoptotic protein and a diagnostic marker for various cancers, including cervical, endometrial adenocarcinomas, and renal cell carcinoma. VIL1 has been identified as a predictive biomarker for postoperative recurrence and poorer prognosis in high serum AFP-associated HCC.

IHC Control Slides
Creative Biolabs control slides are prepared using top quality tissues that have been processed, embedded and sectioned following standard operating procedure. We provide the following antigen (tissue) controls: - Positive control: a section from a tissue known to express the protein of interest. - Negative control: a section from a tissue known not to express the target antigen. - Endogenous tissue background control: a section from the tissue that doesn't have a primary antibody applied.
Tissue Samples
Creative Biolabs also offers biospecimen including formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue blocks, fresh or snap frozen tissue blocks, tissue microarray (TMA) slides. Please contact us to request a customized price quotation.
