Seven-reagent kit from Gomori to detect pathological changes in elastic fibers. It also stains mast cell granules, beta granules in pancreatic islets, neurosecretory substances, mast cell granules, and beta cells in the pituitary gland.
Description
The acetal fuchsin kit is used to visualize and detect pathological changes in elastic fibers, such as elastic tissue atrophy, loss or thinning of elastic tissue due to atherosclerotic changes or vascular disease. Commonly used for staining of pancreatic beta cells, mast cell granules, mucin, cartilage, arginine granules and sperm acrosomes.
