Assay Type: High-throughput Screening, High Content Screening and Reporter Gene Assays
Assay Overview
This assay is to provide PC-9-based In Vitro High Content Screening (HCS) Assay to accelerate our client's oncology projects. The assay will be customized according to the specific requirements. Please contact our scientists to discuss more details.
Target Cell Name
PC-9
Target Cell Organism
Human
Target Cell Background
PC-9 is lung adenocarcinoma cell line with a deletion in exon 19 of the EGFR gene that exhibits high sensitivity to TKIs. The PC-9G cell line (PC-9 cells resistant to gefitinib) was established by long-term exposure to gefitinib, and was shown to harbor the EGFR T790M mutation.

Assay Name
In Vitro High Content Screening (HCS) Assay
Assay Description
HCS is one of the latest techniques used in cancer drug discovery programs. Unlike traditional HTS platforms, HCS provides more visual information about the experiment being conducted. HCS is a very powerful tool for multivariate and quantitative data analysis. Cellbased HCS systems have also gained much attention in biological research and cancer drug discovery programs.
