PC-9 In Vitro Real-time Cell Proliferation Monitoring and Live Cell Imaging Assay (Cell Proliferation)
CAT#: ITS-0123-YF760
Target Cell Organism: Human
Target Cell Name: PC-9
Assay Type: Cell Viability/Cytotoxicity and Antiproliferative Assays
Assay Overview
This assay is to provide PC-9-based In Vitro Real-time Cell Proliferation Monitoring and Live Cell Imaging Assay (Cell Proliferation) to accelerate our client's oncology projects. The assay will be customized according to the specific requirements. Please contact our scientists to discuss more details.
Target Cell Name
PC-9
Target Cell Organism
Human
Target Cell Background
PC-9 is lung adenocarcinoma cell line with a deletion in exon 19 of the EGFR gene that exhibits high sensitivity to TKIs. The PC-9G cell line (PC-9 cells resistant to gefitinib) was established by long-term exposure to gefitinib, and was shown to harbor the EGFR T790M mutation.
Related Diseases
Lung Cancer
Research Area
Oncology
Assay Name
In Vitro Real-time Cell Proliferation Monitoring and Live Cell Imaging Assay (Cell Proliferation)
Assay Description
The live imaging assays can monitor cancer cell proliferation as well as distinguish cells undergoing apoptosis and necrosis.
Assay Type
Cell Viability/Cytotoxicity and Antiproliferative Assays
Assay Type Details
Uncontrolled proliferation is one of the main features of cancer cells. Cell-based in vitro assays are employed to determine whether test molecules possess direct cytotoxic/antiproliferative effects in cancer cells.
