This product is a LNP prepared with ionizable lipid (SM102), helper lipid, cholesterol and PEGylated lipid, encapsulating Cy5-labeled Firefly Luciferase mRNA. Firefly Luciferase mRNA, a fluorescence reporter, encodes an enzyme that catalyzes the oxidation of luciferin to oxyluciferin, producing bioluminescence. Cy5, a cyanine-derived far-red fluorescent dye, enables monitoring of mRNA migration over time and its spatial distribution within living cells when used for mRNA labeling. The loaded Cy5-labeled Firefly Luciferase mRNA is capped with the CAP 1 structure and modified with 5-methoxyuridine to enhance expression and reduce immunogenicity. It is only for research purposes.
