This product is a LNP prepared with ionizable lipid (SM102), helper lipid, cholesterol and PEGylated lipid, encapsulating Cy5-labeled mCherry mRNA. mCherry, a monomeric red fluorescent protein derived from DsRed, is renowned for its exceptional photostability. It is extensively used for molecular labeling and the localization of cellular components, which exhibits an excitation wavelength of 587 nm and emission at 610 nm. Cy5, a cyanine-derived far-red fluorescent dye, enables monitoring of mRNA migration over time and its spatial distribution within living cells when used for mRNA labeling. The loaded Cy5-labeled mCherry mRNA is capped with the CAP 1 structure and modified with 5-methoxyuridine to enhance expression and reduce immunogenicity. It is only for research purposes.
