This product is an antibody that was generated by immunizing rabbit against recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-230 of human ALOX15 (NP_001131.3). It is used only in in vitro assays.
Introduction:
ALOX15 converts arachidonic acid to 15S-hydroperoxyeicosatetraenoic acid. The protein also acts on C-12 of arachidonate as well as on linoleic acid.
