This product is a recombinant antibody that was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG1 format. It could react with rhesus macaque IgG1 and IgG3, as well as cynomolgus monkey, pigtailed macaque and baboon IgG. It has minimal reactivity with human, mangabey, vervet, chimpanzee, or marmoset IgG.
Introduction:
Immunoglobulin classes share the same basic four polypeptide chain structure of two heavy chains (five types) and two light chains (kappa, lambda; both having a molecular weight of 22.5 kDa). Kappa and lambda consist of a variable region and a constant region and can easily be differentiated by the antigenic properties of the constant region.
